Pearl River Hearing Center is owned and operated by Tracy L. Barber, a New York State licensed Hearing Aid Dispensor.

Tracy has been in the industry for more than 20 years, and actively supports the New York Hearing Aid Tax Credit Act (NY AB 1890).

This bill would proviide a tax credit of up to $500 per hearing aid, once every five years towards the purchase of hearing aid(s) for any individual or those purchasing for a dependent.

Of the more than 1.7 million New Yorkers suffering from hearing loss, 95% can be treated with hearing aids. This bill would help thousands of people who can't afford hearing aid treatment.

Medicare, and most insurance policies, excludes coverage of hearing loss treatment, however there are non-profit financial resources available for the treatment of hearing loss.
